Objectives

| The mission of Orange ADE is to further the understanding of diabetes and its treatment at both local and national levels. |
| Orange ADE is a local chapter of the American Association of Diabetes Educators, a national 9,000 member multidisciplinary group, that includes registered nurses, registered dietitians, registered pharmacists, exercise physiologists, physical therapist, psychologists, and physicians. |
| To provide diabetes educators with a forum for an interchange of knowledge and skills. To conduct continuing education programs. To promote political awareness. To encourage communication and collaboration with the professional community. To establish standards of excellence in diabetes education. |
