Objectives

| The mission of Orange ADE is to further the understanding of diabetes and to promote healthy life style management at the local level. |
| Orange ADE is a local chapter of the American Association of Diabetes Educators, a national 15,000 member multidisciplinary group, that includes health care providers, industry representatives and community members interested in diabetes care. |
| To provide diabetes educators with a forum for an interchange of knowledge and skills. To conduct continuing education programs. To promote political awareness. To encourage communication and collaboration with the professional community. To establish standards of excellence in diabetes education. To partner with Orange county local and national non-profits and professional organizations. |
